Global Sustainable Islands Summit 2025 in St Kitts

In June 2025, CEC CEO, Eugene Tiah attended this conference and participated in a panel on “Governance, Innovation, and Climate Action: Building a Sustainable Future for Islands”.  CEC was honoured to be a Silver Sponsor.

Despite being among the most vulnerable to its effects, islands are also demonstrating extraordinary resilience and leadership in implementing innovative climate solutions. From renewable energy transitions to sustainable agriculture practices, these islands are pioneering initiatives that serve as models for global climate action. This was a high-level discussion with the island leaders creating new pathways to resilience.
