Council of Caribbean Engineering Organisations

The Council of Caribbean Engineering Organisations and Engineers (CCEO) is a non-profit organization with the objective to advance the science, art and practice of engineering in the public interest, and for this purpose:

  1. To group the organisations of Professional Engineers in different Caribbean countries into one regional organisation and to promote the establishment of Professional Engineering organisations where such do not exist.
  2. To study, promote and protect in common the professional interests of member engineering organisations.
  3. To foster cooperation and the exchange of information concerning engineering matters among the members and to facilitate co-operation with other regional and international organisations collaborating in technical affairs.
  4. To set up standards and rules of ‘professional conduct for engineers in conformity with the responsibility and dignity of the profession and to watch over their application and observance.
  5. To encourage the maximum use of the members from the various regional engineering organisations in the social and economic development of the region.
  6. To foster the education, training, and professional development of engineers at all levels of professional and technical competence.
