In September, CEC had a booth in Republic Bank’s Sustainability Conference held at the Macoya Conference Centre. It was encouraging to see the efforts being made from small to large companies on the sustainability front and we encourage the momentum to continue.
CEC also participated in a panel at SOTIC 2024 (State of the Tourism Industry Conference) held in Grand Cayman by the Caribbean Tourism Organisation. The topic was ‘how can we create a tourism industry that thrives without compromising our planet?’ The speakers explored the crucial sensitive balance between profitability and sustainability.
